Down on the Farm

Erik's mom, Kim, lives in the sticks.  She has a small farm outside of Seattle with a barnyard of furry friends. Her pride and joy are the Longhorn Cows.

We went to visit this weekend and spent some time out in the yard with these guys.

They are huge!  You don't realize just how big that horn span is until you're right up beside them, while they're snuffling in your ear, looking for treats.

Kim loves these guys like children.  Really, they're like big puppies.  Very sweet and playful.   They are probably the most loved, most spoiled cows you'll ever meet.
